There is this crazy ability to travel here in Rome.
Around three hours I decided that I was going with some students to Assisi tomorrow. Just like that!
There isn’t much planning to be done, just figuring out the train. And then it is done. It is an unbelievably invigorating feeling.
Sunday is the feast of Saint Francis, and we will not be there for that. But that is just fine, we will be able to see the preparations and if there are celebrations the day before we will be there.
